In January the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 5, a proposed bill that will impose a Student Loan Tax on all federal student loans, with the tax to be taken from the pockets of students. The bill would cost student borrowers thousands of dollars and will affect all Federal Stafford Loans, PLUS Loans and Consolidation Loans.
